A branch off everyone's favorite Apartment Therapy, Ohdeedoh features children's rooms tours, real birthday parties, and tons of ideas and tips for parents. This was my go-to website for inspiration when planning Lucy's nursery.

Okay, I had to come over here from Ohdeedoh. First of all, your nursery is beautiful! But the thing that really caught my eye is your daughter's name. I had to see if "James" was her middle name or last name because my seven year old daughter is named Lucy James Sullivan. (Well, technically it's Lucia, but she goes by Lucy ;) So--I have to ask if there's a story behind your Lucy James. If my daughter had been a boy we were going to give him the middle name James to honor my father-in-law. When she turned out to be a girl, we decided, what the heck, we'll give it to her anyway. :) I love the name :)
ReplyDeleteThank you! No meaning behind the name. We just thought that Lucy James fit together. It's her middle, not last name. We actually picked the name years ago before we were even married. Once we found out we were having a girl we considered so many names but kept coming back to Lucy.
