Inspiration: Pizza By Elizabeths

Yesterday I met my friend Allison for a late lunch.
We went to one of my favorite spots in Greenville: Pizza by Elizabeths.

I love this restaurant not just because they have amazing food, but also because of their gorgeous decor.
They renovated the restaurant a few years ago and it looks amazing.

The concept is just as simples as it sounds.
They sell a variety of gourmet pizzas named after famous Elizabeths.

I ate the Shannon pizza: fig jam, gorgonzola cheese, prosciutto and scallions on honey wheat crust. It was amazing. I paired my lunch with a glass of Graffigna Malbec.

I snapped this picture of the view from our table, but it doesn't quite give justice to how gorgeous PBE is on the inside. It has the perfect mix of rustic accents, glamourous decor, bold colors and chic fabrics.

I've dragged Jordan here a few times just because the food is that good, but usually I reserve PBE as a place to meet up with the gals. PBE is such a great place to bring girlfriends for lunch, host a bridal or baby shower, or even grab a few drinks for happy hour at their cork bar.

What girl wouldn't want their living room to look like this??

While I love the look of this restaurant, I wouldn't make Jordan live in a house that was this girly. But it would be the perfect inspiration for a single girl who wanted to glam up her space a bit. The heavy gold mirrors againt the bold teal wall are the perfect backdrop against the beautiful fabrics of the banquettes and gorgeous glass lamps lining the tables.

Even the bathroom is glamorous. I'm in love with that chandelier.
I never thought I'd say this, but I'm starting to become fond of some wallpapers....

How cool are these light fixtures in the bar/lounge area?

The alleyway that leads to the front door also hosts a number of adorable little nooks with tables that are perfect for late night drinks during the summer.

Check out this chic DIY table made from an old door.

I can't wait for summer to come to take advantage of their gorgeous outdoor space.

Are there any favorite restaurants or other places that inspire you?

Check out the Pizza by Elizabeths website and if you're ever in Delaware you must stop in for lunch.

  1. Man... I LOVE this place! Ok, I've never actually been, but your pictures make me think I would love it. I can totally imagine a bridal shower lunceon, like you said. When I lived in Atlanta, I worked at a pizza place that served pizza like this. SOOOO Yummy!
